In the heart of Silicon Valley, our communities provide a welcoming, vibrant environment for extremely low to moderately low income people 62 years of age and persons with disabilities 18 years of age. Liberty Tower, located in the “old quad” area of Santa Clara and Wesley Manor, situated within walking distance from downtown Campbell, are federally funded through a property-based Section 8 program by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
Residents can create their own special home in the Liberty Tower unfurnished studio and one-bedroom apartments and the Wesley Manor unfurnished one-bedroom apartments and modified one-bedroom apartments for persons with physical disabilities.
Liberty Tower Amenities
Liberty Tower is a 101-unit high-rise building located in the heart of historic downtown Santa Clara, California. Constructed in 1973 and nestled in a lovely residential neighborhood, it is also home to an attractive rose garden. Liberty Tower offers 60 studio and 40 one-bedroom apartments. Utilities are included and rent is subsidized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Residents must be 62 years of age or older. Its convenient location includes nearby transportation, a post office, restaurants, a state-of-the-art senior center, and a branch library in the center of a beautiful tree-lined park.
Wesley Manor Amenities
Since 1979, residents 62 years and older and persons with disabilities have enjoyed affordable rents subsidized by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development at Wesley Manor in Campbell, California. The 156-unit high-rise building offers one-bedroom and modified one-bedroom units for persons with disabilities. Minutes from shopping, restaurants, senior center activities, libraries, and transportation services, Wesley Manor residents have a host of convenient services nearby. There is a drugstore across the street and historic downtown Campbell is just minutes away.
Activities
A myriad of activities are available for residents to enjoy at Liberty Tower and Wesley Manor. Opportunities abound for people to interact and share experiences at our communities. Special events may include festive celebrations, health and wellness presentations, and resident-sponsored get togethers.
With meeting rooms, libraries, and lounges in our common areas, residents can enjoy playing games, doing puzzles, watching movies or television, or participating in book chats. Musical expression is also encouraged with the beautiful pianos located in each building. The WOW! computer stations in the community common areas are always busy with our “silver surfers” navigating the Internet and connecting with family and friends. Liberty Tower and Wesley Manor offer diverse and vibrant environments that pave the way for carefree living.
The complimentary facility van transports residents to weekly grocery and mall shopping. Visits to local museums, movie theaters and day trips to places such as San Francisco, Santa Cruz, Capitola and Gilroy give residents the opportunity to explore the beautiful surroundings of the Bay Area and expand their horizons.
